Giving Credit Where Credit Is Due

In life, we meet several people who make lasting impressions. These people often play a major role in your human development. The problem is we often wait until it's too late to let these people know how important they are to you. So while I have the ability, I will take this time out to mention the people who has had a positive impact on my life.

Joseph: Throughout my life there have been few constants, and Joe happens to be one of them. More than a best friend, he is like my brother. We've survived going to different high schools, different colleges, and living in different cities. I don't like to call on people to do things for me, but whenever I need something I know Joe will pull through. It is always nice to know you have someone who you can call on in the 9th inning of a 2-1 games to close it out.

James: Another one of my friends who have earned the title of a brother. He often calls me 'big brother', I appreciate the fact that you consider me that. James and his family has been nothing but the best to me. James and his family has been the family that I always wanted but never had.

Coach Jones: I wouldn't be where I'm at today without the help of Coach Jones. Many people may not like the way you do things but I can say they were effective with me. You often served as a mentor and father-figure. Even when I didn't understand what you was trying to teach, I still listened. And I can honestly say that you knew what you were talking about.

Leslie: What can I say? Its been nothing but fun. We're two different people from two different background, but some how we still manage to understand each other. I want nothing but the best for you, that's why I'm constantly pushing you. Its good to nice there's someone that cares for and about me. I'm looking forward to the future and what can come out of it.

Calvin, Takeem & Eric: These 3 were key to my success and development in college. I would've never survived my first year without the knowledge of Eric, the advice of Takeem, and the encouragement of Calvin. Due to various reasons we have grown apart, but I still haven't forgotten the three of you.

Now that I think of it there's many people I'm thankful for crossing paths with. The list is too long to too so give everyone their own little paragraph.. I can still talk about the good things that other people has done for my life. People like Brandon, Christina, Chris, Randy, and Ms. Mullen all has had positive effects on my life. I am thankful for them and I am even thank for the people who has had a negative impact, they too help me get to where I am.
